of new media marketing channels, cutting edge bespoke e-commerce site
and excellent web presence.

About You

We are seeking a PHP guru to manage the vision, architecture, delivery
and operation of our new online experience booking engine and the
further development of our voucher business intranet and extranet
systems. Alongside the company directors the chosen candidate will
help to develop and deliver the company’s online IT strategy. The
candidate will have a computer science related degree or higher and a
wealth of industry experience. They must be an excellent project
manager with a sound technical knowledge in PHP, MYSQL & XML.

Using the companies outsourced web developers and in house resources
the role will entail the continued structuring and building of our
existing booking / reservations platform. The candidate will have a
clear grasp of web 2.0 front end technologies plus a sound knowledge
of back office CMS systems & ecommerce sites. Receiving allocation via
data feeds from multiple sources & platforms and allowing this
allocation to be bookable online and by resellers are just some of the
more complicated aspects this position entails. This combined with the
further design and development of the browser based intranet and
extranet mean the chosen candidate will need vison, great organisation
skills and an excellent technical knowledge.

Tasks include (but not exclusively limited to)

Ø Development of company online IT strategy
Ø Architecture and development of company booking software
Ø Managing outsourced PHP & MYSQL web developers
Ø Managing in house web manager and designer

Essential Experience Required

Ø Degree level of higher computer science / technical subject
Ø 3 years+ industry experience in relevant position
Ø PHP, MYSQL, XML
Ø Previous software development experience
Ø Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
